About Me.
My name is Dustin Dees and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida majoring in Health Science on the Health promotion Track. I am currently in a senior standing and plan on graduating in May 2026. My goals after graduation include taking a gap year to focus on growing my resume and gaining clinical hours working as a pharmacy technician. After that, I plan on applying to PT school with the hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist.

A dedicated customer service professional with a strong background in client engagement, problem-solving, and relationship building. Passionate about health, fitness, and wellness, with a goal of transitioning into personal training to help individuals achieve their fitness goals. Skilled in communication, motivation, and providing exceptional service, with a commitment to fostering positive client experiences.
Throughout my life, I have embraced a wide range of talents and commitments, pushing myself to excel in multiple areas. One of my proudest achievements was successfully balancing athletics, music, and academics in high school. I earned a place on both the varsity basketball and track teams while actively participating in band. This experience demanded exceptional time management, discipline, and perseverance. Competing at the varsity level strengthened my athletic abilities, teamwork, and resilience, while my involvement in music allowed me to express creativity and develop leadership skills. Juggling these commitments taught me how to stay focused, manage pressure, and push my limits—qualities that continue to shape my work ethic and drive for success.

Beyond my extracurricular achievements, my life has been defined by resilience. I have faced challenges that forced me to adapt quickly, whether it was moving to a new place, taking on unexpected responsibilities, or stepping outside my comfort zone. Recently, I experienced one of the most difficult hardships of my life—the loss of my father. In the past six months, I have had to navigate the complexities of that situation while being a full-time student and supporting myself financially. This experience has tested my strength, but it has also reinforced my determination, problem-solving skills, and ability to persevere in the face of adversity. Through it all, I have learned the value of hard work, the importance of staying positive, and the power of personal growth.

These experiences have all shaped my passion for a career in physical therapy and athletic training. My journey as a student-athlete gave me firsthand knowledge of training, injury prevention, and rehabilitation, sparking my interest in helping others achieve their physical goals. I know what it feels like to push past limits, to recover from setbacks, and to strive for peak performance. Just as I have overcome personal and physical challenges, I want to empower others—whether they are recovering from injuries, improving their athletic performance, or simply striving for a healthier lifestyle. Seeing individuals regain strength, confidence, and mobility would be incredibly fulfilling.

My accomplishments, challenges, and ambitions have all led me to this path. I am eager to use my resilience, discipline, and passion to make a real impact in the lives of others. I believe that through physical therapy and athletic training, I can help people overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and unlock their full potential.
